8 hopes for Season 8 of Smallville
1) The chance to see Tom Welling topless and possibly wet, yummy :P
And another element that makes the show what it is the graphicy intro with the infamous theme song
2)The return of Oliver Queen and the development of his character along with his interactions with Clark.
3)A possible connection between Lois and Clark. Something viewers have been waiting for, for 3 long years. Another Superman tradition, Clark suiting up for reporter duty :)
But with the good comes the bad, the confirmed rumor of Lana in the tenth episode.
4)Downplay of Kara's importance in the season, cause I am so sick of her!
5)My true hope is for the actors to find that spark that made the show so great when it first premiered in 2001. Although how can you blame them, the creators of the show didn't give them much to work with. They somehow find a way to change them enough to spark an interest in their viewers but never keep it going because of all the stuff they seem to play out between Clark and Lana.
6)One thing I'll truly miss is Lex, because he was so good at being the bad guy although it did become highly annoying that somehow they always found a way to blame him...but hopefully we'll see him now and then, maybe even more...
7) The adorable sweet Jimmy Olsen and Chloe Sullivan's relationship. They are two people worth watching on the show, and the only ones who haven't pissed me off enough yet. And on the topic of Chloe the revelation of her crazy wicked weird mysterious powers.
8) And the consequences of the destruction of the Fortress of Solitude

Maybe (if we're lucky) Lana will have an unfortunate incident involving a vampire baby and, thus, meet her final death (a.k.a. Renesmee, pt. 3!!).
That seems to be a popular trend these days.
Oh god, it's the curse of Renesmee! No one can escape her vampire-y grasp! I do think it would be a fitting end for Lana though :)
It'd be perfect!
