Doctor Who Season 7B Podcast!!!

After a longish hiatus, the Ashitaka's Angels Doctor Who Podcast has returned! Just in time for the end of Season 7!  Many thanks to Lea, Maxine, and DW podcast first-timer, Jen, for taking time to discuss our favorite time lord, an impossible girl,  and what the heck that reveal in the finale could mean going into Season 8*.

Here's the rundown:

00:00~02:00 |  Lea provides a very un-Doctor Who-like intro; We ask ourselves the age-old question:  "How is Grey's Anatomy still on?"

02:01~11:34 | Our thoughts finally turn to Who, specifically, the 7B finale, "The Name of the Doctor"
We also experience residual Pond feels.

11:34~14:25 | Is River Song connected to Clara? Theories emerge!

14:26~22:54 | Our thoughts on Jenna Louise Coleman, Girl with the Boop-able Nose and
Clara Oswin Oswald: Impossible Girl, SoufflĂ© attempter

22:55~25:29 | A slight meditation on Whouffle shippers. (Psst. It rhymes with soufflé.)
                       (And, yes, it's a thing.)

25:30~29:41 | JOHN HURT AS THE DOCTOR a.k.a. Lea nearly uses up her F-word quota
(Each person is allowed 5 per podcast.)

29:42~29:43 | Lea officially reaches her F-bomb quota

29:44~31:06 | JOHN HURT AS THE DOCTOR, cont.

31:07~33:15 | Our thoughts on the actual meaning of the Doctor's name

33:16~41:38 | Our Favorite/Least Favorite episodes
Spoiler Alert: Our least fave rhymes with 'The Shrings of Shakhaten')
Also, could Rose and Clara have a possible connection? Theories emerge once more!

41:39~52:41 | Thoughts on Matt Smith's hair, or lack thereof, as well as the season as a whole

52:42~52:50 | Lea officially goes over the F-word limit

52:51~57:29 | We play the 7B Edition of 'Doctor WHO Said That?'; Winner gets a TARDIS! (Sort of.)

57:30~end    | What we're looking forward to for Season 8, followed by....
An investigation of the origins of Benedict Cumberbatch's creepy smile +
a discovery of the 13th Doctor's identity as well as Cumberbatch Kids

Thus spake the fangirls. What did you think of the finale/Season 7B?

*Warning: this podcast is rated F for 'F-bomb-laden'...and fun, of course.

GG's Farewell to 2012

Traditionally I make a list of all the best things that I've found in the past year so here there are. Consider them GG approved :)

1. Best Book
No brainier! How about the books that captivated my attention in a matter of days, The Hunger Games Trilogy  Yes it's a worldwide phenomenon indeed but they have become so much more to me than that. a Suzanne Collins shares the story of Katniss Everdeen, a loner in  a post-apocalyptic world who becomes a symbol for her country. Whilst Katniss is a strong protagonist the readers are given a chance to see her struggle and the subsequent changes that come about from her journey and ability to survive.

2. Best Discovery
Doctor Who?
What can I say about this beloved  and brilliant series? Well to be honest I could go on for hours but for you guys I'll simply put it this way; this series offers adventure, courage, sacrifice, discovery, fun--simply it's magic. Viewers are given a unique opportunity to travel with a regenarating, imaginative and impossible man of a Doctor from a fanciful planet, a dark past with an iconic blue, TARDIS blue police phone box. It offers childlike, impulsive behavior, surprising and wonderfully remarkable companions--each magnificent in their own way.  And with all this knowledge, power and legendary history that the impossible Doctor provides, I cannot wait for more adventures and surprises.

3. Best Comedy
Plus Awesome Guest Stars! Hello Mr. Vice President
Parks and Recreation (please see my epic post)
Seeing as I've already written a love letter to the cast and writers of Parks and Recs I just leave you with this, if you aren't watching it get on that. I promise you won't regret it. They dynamics and juxtaposition of the cheerful can-do Leslie Knope and liberal, government hating Ron Swanson is enough to spark glee in this viewer.

4. Best Sophomore Season
I'd have to say Revenge, last season the story of Emily Thorne and her desire for revenge kept the viewers on the edge of their seats and with her return to the Hamptons and after all the drama that her detailed plans caused the writers still had a twist up their sleeves. Her mother was still alive and Emily became even more determined to bring down the Grayson's with more vengeance than ever. Ultimately the season never deterred and kept the viewers wanting more--which often proves hard to do in a second season.

5. Best Song
"Call Me Maybe"

Yes, indeed it was the most popular song of the year, but besides the fun and easy pick up line that it provides I love the parody's and various remakes that the song sparked. Well done Carly Rae

6. Best Film
Now this year I didn't get to the thereat all that often but I'd have to say that this summer The Avengers stole my heart and sealed it away. I've always been a major fan of superhero films and The Avengers gave us fantastic interactions between some of our favorite Marvel characters. Joss Whedon gave us all we dreamed of while anticipating the mash-up of SHIELD, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America.

7. Best Website
This year I finally succumbed and started a Twitter account. And became instantly addicted, yes indeed the best waste of time a gal could find. I'm sure all of you are familiar with Twitter but just in case, its a website that allows you to share a thought in a 140 characters and to follow people that you talk to on a daily basis and the people you wish to speak to on a daily basis. Some of my favorite tweets come from a childhood friend, Adam Levine and Mindy Kaling. It is AWESOME :) Look me up @MightyMaxine

8. Hardest Goodbye
American television provides a lot of information and a lot of series come and go, but the ones that stick around and become a part of your routine or water cooler chatter can really stick with you. If this category was about characters then the Whovian in me would most certainly have to say letting go of Ten this summer was beyond impossible. Farewell my beloved bouncy, skinny Doctor. And don't even get me started on the massacre provided by Steven Moffat in "The Angels Take Manhattan," in which we say goodbye to the beloved Ponds who became The Doctor's family.  Since this category has to do with a series as a whole, which I lost 3 of:  One Tree HillChuck and Gossip Girl. I'd have to say One Tree Hill because I've been attached to that series since high school and grew up with Haley, Brooke, and Nathan. They taught me about life and survival--even if the story lines were way more dramatic than my own life--the fundamental things that everyone struggles with these characters traversed and overcame.

Doctor Who: "The Angels Take Manhattan" Live Reaction Podcast: The Weeping Ashitaka's Angels Edition!

You saw that title right, folks. Who better to discuss an episode about the Weeping Angels than the Ashitaka's Angels, who also, consequently, wept with abandon after watching it (well, at least 2/3 of us did). Going in, we fully expected the Ponds' farewell to be an emotional one, and we were not disappointed. In this podcast, we discuss those pesky and creepy Weeping Angels and say goodbye to an amazing companion duo while wading waist-deep into an ocean of Pond feels. Wade with us, won't you?

Here's the rundown:

00:00~00:53  Let the sadness begin!

00:54~09:36  Chapter 1: Crying. We talk about whether or not we cried, what parts made us cry, and what other episodes (if any) made us cry. Spoiler alert: One of us shed no tears.

09:37~19:20  Chapter 2: Least Favorite/Favorite parts; we also discuss different versions of the Angels,  Matt Smith's heartbreaking performance, and the Statue of Liberty

19:21~24:49  Chapter 3: Confusion, part 1: "How do those Angels work?" and other time-traveling queries. Also, why did Rory have to go back?!

24:50~26:47  Chapter 3, continued: Our theories on how "The Angel's Kiss" gets published; also, head canon!

26:48~33:54  Chapter 4: The Farewell Itself; We discuss how happy we were with how the Ponds departed/the finality of their departure

33:55~39:21  Chapter 5: River Song--why she can't travel too long w/The Doctor; the beginning of the end; our thoughts on The Doctor and River's relationship

39:22~45:32  Chapter 6: Emotional Respite a.k.a. we play a brief round of "WHO Said That?" (Yes, I am that corny sometimes) to distract ourselves from the sadness. Also, Maxine explains why she would carry a sledgehammer with her if she were The Doctor

45:33~46:54  Chapter 7: Scolding Rory (but not really)

46:55~53:07  Chapter 8: More Time-Travel Centered Confusion. Lea asks a big question about the very last scene + leftover favorite Amy/Rory moments

53:08~1:00:12  Chapter 9: Displacement. Maxine literally gets displaced in time for a quick second; we discuss The Doctor's having to let Amy go

1:00:13~1:03:51  Chapter 10: The Doctor. How he's been erasing himself from history, being scary while traveling alone, his dislike of endings

1:03:52~end  Chapter 11: Speculation on Oswin/Clara, how we'll process not seeing the Ponds anymore + wrapping up

Though the Ponds' days of time-travel with our favorite time lord have concluded, our discussion of it will continue. Our mid-season podcast recap will be happening soon!

Doctor Who: "The Power of Three" Live Reaction Podcast! (The Repodcasting)

Why the 'repodcasting,' you ask? Because we love the show so much we had to talk about it twice (and not because of technical difficulties that occurred during the first recording)? Sure! Let's go with that. Tomorrow's episode, as all Whovians know, is when the Ponds say farewell. So, naturally, in this podcast, we couldn't help but dip into an ocean of Pond feels. Even Mrs. Hughes from Downton got in on it. It'll make more(?) sense when you listen.

Here's the rundown!

00:00~06:43  A quick recap and a Quotes Quiz! Which Doctor Who character said what?

06:44~12:31  General reactions/Our favorite parts

12:32~20:11  Lea blows Jenni's mind with a Doctor Who theory. More theories abound soon after.

20:12~26:32  A Spice Girls mention followed by the beginning of our Pond feels/ General companion commentary/ a discussion of the lonely Doctor

26:33~27:01  Spoilers?

(50:48)           Lea does a spot-on Dalek impression

58:10~1:07:59  Top Amy/Rory moments; Plus, a discussion of the dynamic between the Doctor and the Ponds; Basically, all the Pond feels are belong to us.

1:08:00~end  Wrapping up!

Are you prepared to say goodbye to Amy and Rory? Excited and/or terrified to encounter the Weeping Angels again? "The Angels Take Manhattan" airs tomorrow on BBCA at 9:00 p.m.!

Is it possible to cry from Pond feels and not blink for fear of the Weeping Angels at the same time? I guess we'll find out.

Doctor Who "A Town Called Mercy" Teaser Clip

Some stray thoughts:
  • I'm getting serious Terminator vibes from our mysterious gunslinger. Unfortunately, he doesn't have an Austrian accent. Fortunately, unlike Ah-nold, it looks like he won't be back for 3 sequels, the first of which was great; the other 2...meh.
  • For a second, I thought the word 'Exterminate' flashed in aforesaid gunslinger's crosshairs and became immediately annoyed because it made me think of the Daleks. I then remembered how to read and became annoyed at my brief illiteracy.
  • Spoiler-alert, the guy gets shot and says, "Am I the last one?" The last what, pray tell??
Anything you're wondering about from the previews for episode 3?

See the answers unfold in "A Town Called Mercy," which airs at 9 p.m. this Saturday on BBC America!

Ashitaka's Angels Doctor Who Live Broadcasts!

Friends, Whovians, general TV-lovers, lend us your ears!
The Ashitaka's Angels are shaking things up for September and the new fall season of television. As you can see above, one new thing we're trying out is live podcasting our reactions for Season 7 of Doctor Who.

After the premiere last Saturday, the Ashitaka's Angels and a couple friends of the blog got together (thanks, Mixlr.com and The Internet!) to have a roundtable that was chockfull of timey-wimeyness, laughter, insights, loud noises, and expectations for the new season. We had such a good time that we're hoping to do it again. And who knows? Maybe we'll get a few more Whovians to join us. More details to come on that front soon.

There are 3 ways to listen to the podcasts:
1. If you don't like waiting, and you want your Doctor Who commentary quicker than the time it takes a Weeping Angel to attack a blinking person, you can listen live on the Ashitaka's Angels Mixlr player located on the blog. We'll tweet on @ashitakasangels when we're about to broadcast.

2. If you kind of like waiting, you can listen to a saved recording of the broadcast on our Mixlr page: http://mixlr.com/ashitakasangels. These will post on the night of. This is the LINK

3. If you enjoy waiting a whole lot, we'll also post the recordings on this here blog via sound cloud usually a day or two after we've broadcasted live.

We'll be on-air next Saturday to talk about "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship," or as I like to call it, "Motherf***in' Dinosaurs on a Motherf***in' Spaceship."

Until then,

zozizzle

DOCTOR WHO New Season 7 Trailer!!! I AM EXCITE.

Some stray thoughts:
  • RIVER SONG!!!
  • Re: The Dalek Tribunal: If they all say, "EXTERMINATE!" simultaneously, I may have to punch someone in the face. Their voices are sooo annoying.
  • I.LOVE.THE.PONDS.
  • Rory(yyy!): "Who killed all the Daleks?" The Doctor: "Who do you think?" #DoctorDropstheMic
No official air date for the season premiere has been set , but it's been speculated that it'll take place near the end of August. This of course begs the question: What are you excited to see in the new season of Doctor Who?

Doctor Who Episode 6.5 (and other stuff): love you THIS big

Docwho 6.5_the rebel flesh by Ashitaka's Angels

Doctor Who! Game of Thrones! American Idol! These are the things you will hear about if you listen to this podcast. Yes, we are late to the discussion about the latest Who, "The Rebel Flesh". Yes, we ramble on & on about our Theon-issues ("Thissues" as I like to call them) in our GOT section. And yes, we had to cut out 20 minutes of singing just for our discussion of American Idol to make any sense. But hey, we're posting this podcast anyways. Aren't you lucky. Enjoy?

Ashitaka's Angels special edition Doctor Who after-episode reaction Podcast!

doctor who 6.2 by Ashitaka's Angels

WAT.

Oh, you're in for a treat, my friends. Zozizzle and I got together to watch the conclusion of the Doctor Who season 6 two-part premiere and immediately decided our unfiltered general confusion, flail, pleading towards Steven Moffat, shouted questions in anguish, violence towards one another, Robin Hood tangents, and all around buffoonery needed to be shared with the world. So here it is, 20 minutes of podcast for "The Day of the Moon", a fantastical (and horrifying) outing of our beloved Doctor Who.

Enjoy!

Doctor Who 6.1 "The Impossible Astronaut, Part 1": The Live Blog Edition!

WARNING: If you have NOT seen the premiere yet, READ NO FURTHER for there will be, in the words of River Song...

...SPOILERS.
However, if you HAVE seen it, come on in! The water's fine. Sort of.
Welcome to our  recap in which we, two-thirds of the Ashitaka's Angels, keysmash and capslock-yell our way through the Doctor Who Season 6 Premiere. In true Ashitaka's Angels style, this post is going to have the minimum amount of coherency and the maximum amount of flailing. There will be pretty pictures, though! Consider it our (belated) Easter gift to you. A nonsensical, capslock-filled, confusion-ridden (belated) Easter gift.

The stetson'd Doctor welcomes you in.

"I wear stetsons now. Stetsons are cool."
In general, the episode was seven kinds of brilliant. Much like the best Doctor Who episodes, "The Impossible Astronaut, Part 1" was filled with moments that ranged from very touching to outright horrifying to downright mind-boggling. When the episode was over, we came away with a lot of revelations and a whole lot more questions.

First, here's what we found out:

1) (Not Related to the Show) We Were Determined To Watch, Obstacles Be Damned

Yes, there was one horrifying moment within the first 30 seconds of the show. And it didn't even have anything to do with the episode. It had everything to do with, um, technical difficulties:

Lea: my dad is hogging the tv OMG NOOOOOO
 Z: NOOOOOOOOOOO
9:00 PM get on that television!!!
  should i stop watching?
  i'm recording it
9:01 PM Lea: oh fuck balls
 Z: wha happened?
Lea: ok, i'm watching it but idk if i'm a little behind
9:02 PM Z: amy just got a blue envelope
  river song is onscreen

Lea: i'm not at River Song yettttt fuuuuuuuu
 Z: okay
  i'll wait
 Lea: oh, there she is
  lol
Z: when you get to the bus, tell meZ: do you see the bus yet?Lea: BUSZ: k!!!

We wasted no time in mitigating the problem because, let's face it, nothing comes between TV bloggers and their TV shows. Especially shows about time-traveling Doctors.

In fact, by the time the intro came on, we were all sync-ed up and settled in:

*Do do dooo!* You know you sing the theme song, too! ...Right?...Anybody?
Z: this is a new intro
 Lea: omg new opening?
  ooooooooooooh
 Z: I KNOW, RIGHT!
  it's very amy-intensive
 Leasings along
 Z: doo doo doo
 Lea: doo dooooooo

2) (Related to the Show) Doctor Who Fraks With Your Heart & Mind; Also, Steven Moffat is a Sick, Sick Puppetmaster

The Doctor dies in this episode, guys. Killed mid-regeneration by a mysterious astronaut. We were, to put it lightly, distraught:
Astronaut arrives; The Doctor: Still alive
Astronaut Shoots and Leaves; Doctor: Dead; Us: Devastated

Z: ASTRONAUTZ: what is going on?
 Lea: WAAAAAAAAT
  OMGOMG
 Z: who's inside
9:08 PM Lea: WAT WAT WAT WATWAT
  WHO IS IT?!
 Z: WHHHHAAAAAAAAAAA
Lea: OMG WHAT IS HAPPENING NOOOOOOO
 Z: he just got shot!!!!!
9:09 PM is he.....
 Lea: OMG
  no
 me: killed mid regeneration????
  that is a first
 Lea: WAT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
9:10 PM NO HE IS NOT, SHUT YOUR MOUTH

  I'M CRYIIIIIIIIIIIING
 Z: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
9:11 PM Lea: WHY?!
I'M HYPERVENTELATING ON MY COUCH RIGHT NOW
Lea: WHY IS THIS HAPPENING I'M SO DISTRAUGHT RIGHT NOW
9:13 PM     AL;SDKJFL;SDKJF;ALSDJF

I'M IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

3) In the Same Vein, Doctor Who Never Ceases to Fascinate and Confuse Us...But Mainly Confuse Us

For a timelord, time is never in a straight line. To borrow from the tenth Doctor (David Tennant shoutout!), it's more like a "big ball of wibbly, wobbly, timey, wimey stuff." Which makes perfect sense to a timelord. But for two bloggers, who are most certainly NOT timelords?...Not so much.

One source of confusion was when the Doctor came back to life. But...he really didn't come back to life so much as not die yet, making him the Past!Doctor. It was the Future!Doctor that died. See? It's confusing.

The Past!Doctor and his special straw.
Z: HE'S BACCCCKKK
 Lea: AS;LDKFJDKSLA;SLDKFJDKSLA;SLKDJFDKLA;
9:16 PM MY SPECIAL STRAW
 Z: this an emotional rollercoaster
 Lea: DOCTOR, YOU EFFIN BASTARD
 Z: STEVEN MOFFAT, STOP IT
 Lea: YOU. BASTARD.

Lea: that exposition went by so fast and i know i missed most of it
so this Doctor we're seeing now is Future!Doctor?
9:20 PM Z: no
  it's the past!doctor
  the future!doctor just died
the past doctor is 200 years younger than the doctor at the beginning
 Lea: frick
9:21 PM future doctor invited past doctor to the restaraunt
 Z: yes!
9:22 PM that's what i've got down
 Lea: K.........still........WTF
Z: yeah. i have no idea, either

This and other plot developments opened up a whole bag of questions/theories. But, more on those later.

Another thing we found out:
3) Mark Sheppard WILL Find His Way Onto Every Show We Watch

Romo Lampkin, is that you? What are you doing off of Galactica?
This man's TV guest appearances include, but are not limited to:
  • Firefly (Badger)
  • 24 (Ivan Erwich)
  • Dollhouse (Tanaka)
  • Chuck (Ring Director),
  • Supernatural (Crowley, McLeod)
  • Battlestar: Galactica (Romo Lampkin, WUT WUT)
  • and now Doctor Who (Canton Everett Delaware III)
According to my precise calculations, he has appeared in 90-100% of the shows Lea and I have ever been fans of. Come to think of it, he probably managed to wriggle his way into an episode of another one of our favorite shows, Lost. I wouldn't put it past him if he just whispered to a producer and got himself CGI'd into the background. The smoke monster? That was really just him.

Mark Sheppard. In the TARDIS. In Lea's words: the luckiest bastard alive.
Z: Romo Lampkin!
 Lea: OMG MARK SHEPPARD
9:26 PM CONTINUING HIS QUEST TO BE IN EVERY SHOW I'VE EVER WATCHED
Z: it's so true. only this time, he's got an american accent?

Lea: omg Mark Shepphard has been on Serenity, Galactica, AND THE Tardis!
  "IT'S BIGGER ON THE INSIDE"
9:44 PM Z: he has gone where every nerd wants to go

4) One of Us Has An Immense Fear of Alien Faces

Don't look away, gurl! You gon' die!
Too late. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Lea: OMGGLASKDFJGAWIRGJOMG

 Lea: OH

 Z: it erases your memory
 Lea: OH MY FREAKIN GOD
 Z: GUUUURRRLLL

9:40 PM Z: are you watching in the dark?Lea: Yes. i am legitimately terrified omg. my brother was even freaking out lololol

Those are the things we found out. Onto the things we didn't and still don't know--a.k.a. the questions/theories portion of this post, a portion I'd like to call:

"WTF, DOCTOR WHO?! WHA HAPPENED?"

Our first big question:
1) River Song, WHO ARE YOU????!!

Srsly, though. Throw us a flippin' bone here, River!
Exchanges similar to this one...

Lea: WHO ARE YOU, RIVER SONG?!
 Z: NO ONE KNOWS

...happened frequently while we were watching.

This is what we do know.
1) She is constantly breaking out of horribly guarded space-prison.
2) The more she gets to know the Doctor, the less he knows her.
3) She is a BAMF, no doubt.
4) A flurry of questions always surrounds her, making her a MYSTERIOUS! BAMF.

...And that is the sum of our knowledge.

What kind of relationship  did/will she have with the Doctor?! What did she mean when she told the Doctor he knew she was a "screamer"??? WHAT IS ALL THIS LEADING TO???

Do any of you know? Because I have No Idea.

2) HOW IS BABBY FORMED. HOW AMY GET PRAGNENT
Guuurrl. Who the baby daddy?
So, Rory and Amy have been married for a little while. It would seem only natural that Amy happens to be pregnant, right? WRONG. This is DOCTOR WHO, so this isn't just some normal pregnancy that they would just casually mention. No, this has got to be important. But how? Our theories emerged as such:
Lea: So....what do you think about Amy's pregnancy?
10:13 PM Z: it makes me happy!
Lea: Do you think it's just straightforward and Rory is the father and that's it?
or is there some ~secret there
 Z: well, who actually knows
 Lea: or it'll get complicated
OR RIVER SONG IS REALLY THEIR DAUGHTER :O
Z: that'd be something if it was part timelord
  OMG
  WAT
DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU JUST DID
10:14 PM MY HEAD EXPLODED
 Lea: BOOM!
lolol idk if i actually believe that
  but i just wonderrrrrr
 Z: that's an interesting theory!
Lea: like, WHY DID AMY HAVE TO TELL HIM SO BADLY?
Why was it so important she tell him that she was pregnant?
10:15 PM Z: THE CHILD. IT'S SPECIAL.
  i have no idea
Lea: i think there's going to be something fishy w/ the pregnancy
10:16 PM I WOULD LOVE IT IF IT WAS JUST HER AND RORY'S BABBY AND THEY LIVE IN THE COUNTRYSIDE AND RORY GROWS A MULLET

3) Who Is That Child In the Spacesuit?

W.T.A.F. What. Child. Is. This?!
Is this the person in the spacesuit at the beginning of the episode (who also shot the Future!Doctor)? Is this a character's future child? Is she even a real child? Did Amy actually kill her at the end? Again, our wild theories emerged. We may have gotten carried away. All the way into another show--Game of Thrones:

Lea: i wonder if the little girl is still in the astronaut
but [The Doctor] knows them still?
Z: could be! do you think amy killed her?
10:56 PM Lea: maybe the child in the astronaut IS AMY'S CHILD!
  :O
I'm just throwing out the most ridiculous theories ignore me
10:57 PM Z: but they could be true!
  who really knows
10:58 PM Lea: OMG SO MANY QUESTIONS
Z: Wait! i have the answer!
10:59 PM the child in the space suit is the lovechild of rhaegar targaryen and lyanna stark: jon snow
11:00 PM Lea: IT ALL MAKES SENSE!!!!!!!
  secrets and lies and secrets
11:01 PM Z: we are on to you, Steven Moffat

Concluding Thoughts:
If you couldn't already tell, by the end of the show, we were mesmerized:
Yep. Pretty sure we looked like that through the entire show. BTW, if you've made it all the way to this part of the post, you deserve a stetson.

Lea: IT
  WAS
10:01 PM BRILLIANT
  AMAZING
  SO FREAKIN GOOD
  LEGIT
  LIKE
  DUDE
  OMG

 Z: MY HEART IS FULL
MY MIND IS FRAKKEDZ: it packed a real emotional wallop at the beginningand, in true doctor who fashion, was still mentally captivating all the way throughthe best doctor who episodes have me by the mind and heartstrings

Enough said. We absolutely cannot wait for Part 2! Catch it on Saturday on BBC America @ 9 p.m.
