The first premiere introduces us to this world of concern, where Dean is under and has cut off all communications. Which in their business is never a good sign. Lt. Carter Shaw takes this time to hire a new girl for the team and sends Ty back under with some questionable stipulations. Anyhow the crew spends time attempting figure out where Dean's loyalties lie. After setting up a meet and staging as bank employees, they finally figure out what the deal is with gang boss, eventually they are able to make the cuff. Yet it doesn't quite end there, it turns out that Dean has a secret stash that looks highly suspicious.
In "Guns, Strippers and Wives," Ty potential endangers his life, the bust of weapon dealers and his wife's life. While under he makes a ridicoulous mistake and spends the night with his wife because it's her birthday. From this mistake the dealers get suspicious and kidnapp Ty and set a deadline for the money that proves very difficult to come up with. After some dangerous dealings, Dean goes to his stash. Though Carter questions him about with no definite answer they move forward to save Ty and his wife.
On the most recent episode "Purity," viewers are given a look into Jaimie's past when it becomes nearly impossible to pin a former DA turned drug dealer. We discover that Jaime was a drug addict which led to her criminal past and need to change her name along with confirming that Carter is a hard boss that just wants results. This leads to Jaime doing a dose of coke and forming a sorta secret bond with Dean.
Yet another Dean, who you never are quite sure is just putting on a bad boy image or is really a bad boy you can't trust. What intrigues me about Dean Bendis is the uneaseness I feel when he goes under. Constantly he's creating these criminal characters and you're unsure of whether he will turn and no longer be a trustworthy member of Carter's team. Especially with his secret stash that doesn't only contain cash but also drugs and weapons. Supposedly he keeps that stuff nearby so that he can be perform his job yet I still have wonder. Considering the fact that he told Jaimie last week when she went under to base some of what she tells them on some truth.
Ty Curtis, the newlywed who seems to be torn cause when he has his ring on, he's completely devoted but when he doesn't...he has a tendency to seek romance. This definitey could present hazard to his relationships and job performance. Finally I'd say his the guy who makes rookie mistakes even if he isn't a rookie. As Dean said "You know Ty he wants it all." Well in this dark world, you can't have it all and if you try you may have to pay fo it dearly.

"another Dean" as in another Dean like Supernatural's Dean? :)
Not gonna lie, I was only intrigued about this show because it's starring that one actor who played Ryan's brother Trey on The OC and was in that show Traveler and who I love and is really hott. /shallow
Hee! I knew you caught that. To be honest that's why i watched it too, which it turns out is okay. Cause altho he's not the most pristine clean character, he is the best part of that show.
hahaha yes! I love that that was the main reason you watched. Glad that it's actually a good show too. So many times I've been led astray because of hot guys *cough*Smallville*cough*
