To all the readers out there,
This blog usually doesn't delve into politics. But, dear readers, today is different. Today marks one of the most influential and exciting days in our nation's history. The U.S. will be electing either its first African-American president ("...we're solid...solid as Barack!") or its first female Vice President (whose voice is like an "Alaskan windsong"). And the best part is that we, as citizens, get to participate in it! In keeping with that spirit, Ashitaka's Angels encourage you to make your voice known at the polls today. If you haven't already, go out and vote!!!
And just in case you're not convinced to vote yet...Think of the benefits!
1) You'll get to keep this...(nifty sticker)
2) And get rid of this...
Sure, the lines may be long and polling procedure may be confusing, but it'll be worth it in the end. Just think, a couple hours waiting in the poll lines will change the next 4 years in this country.
Here's to making history and making the next 4 years better.
*steps off soapbox*
Have a wonderful day, all!
